Being a Brother is a life choice. It is not a snap decision. Taking plenty of time so you get to know the Brothers of Charity and they get to know you is very important. This period usually takes about a year, but is of course adapted to your own pace. You regularly get in touch with the person in charge of vocations or a community of brothers in your country. This is how you learn more about the Congregation and it allows you to grow in your choice.
