Associate Members of the Brothers of Charity.

Associate Members of the Brothers of Charity are, just like the Brothers themselves, members of the congregation. However, they are not Brothers but men and women who are connected to the congregation in a formal way, although they have no obligation to abandon their state in life. On the bases of an intense relationship with God, they try to embody and promote the spirituality of the Brothers of Charity. Respecting their families,

they can assume certain responsibilities at the at the heart of the congregation. Their actions are characterized by a special sensitivity to giving love to people in distress. Associate members do not take solemn vows like the Brothers do, but they do have to make a promise, which they can renew every three years.
