BROTHERS OF CHARITY TANZANIA

SAINT DOMINIC REGION

Visit of the Provincial Superior of Africa – Rev.Bro. Gerald Simpamagaye

A Visit of Spiritual Depth, Fraternal Warmth & Renewed Mission

The Saint Dominic Region was honoured to welcome Rev.Bro. Gerald Simpamagaye, the Provincial Superior of Africa, on a deeply meaningful and inspiring pastoral visit. His presence brought a renewed spirit of unity, humility, and missionary zeal among the brothers and collaborators.

Throughout his journey, he visited all centres under the region: Aqua Beach, Kigoma Training College, Maendeleo Youth Center, Bangwe Sheltered Home, Kasaka Mental Health Care, Marumba Rehabilitation Centre, and Rumonge Deaf and Crafts Centre.

As he moved through classrooms, workshops, clinics, gardens, formation spaces and homes, Br. Gerald reflected on the profound beauty of God’s creation. He spoke about the harmony of nature, the sacredness of every human life, and the moral duty of approaching all people with humility, compassion, and a holistic attitude.

His message carried a poetic depth, reminding the brothers: “Life becomes beautiful when we honour its sacredness. People become treasures when we approach them gently. Our mission becomes meaningful only when love guides our hands.”

He emphasized spiritual growth, fraternity, responsible stewardship, and collaborative service as pillars of the Brothers of Charity vocation. His words strengthened the region and revived the commitment to serve Christ by serving humanity with dignity and integrity.
