Marumba Rehabilitation Health Centre (MRHC) is a non-profit Catholic institution under the Brothers of Charity – Tanzania, offering holistic mental health care to the poor and vulnerable.
MRHC began in the late 1990s when Bro. Emile, a missionary nurse, began caring for mentally and physically ill patients in Marumba village. A small care unit was later constructed at Kisito, and on 28 February 2004, the centre was officially opened under the name St. Dymphna Psychiatric Centre. It was later renamed Marumba Rehabilitation Health Centre (MRHC).
